Oscar is absolutely the BEST MAN to help you pick out an
engagement ring! His personality shines as bright as the
rocks he sells in his shop. Oscar was really patient in
answering my questions and explaining the diamond buying
basics (the 4Cs). I came in with an idea, and he helped me
design a ring that my fiancé loves. Compared to the other
jewelers that I visited, Oscar was the most helpful and
reasonably priced. We are definitely going back to Oscar’s
for our future jewelry needs.

One of my favorite shops in Chicago. The staff is friendly, courteous, not pushy, fun, and knowledgeable. They will give honest opinions in an attempt to insure that their customers are happy.
I know generations of families that have gotten their
marriage and engagement rings from Oscar’s.
They stand 100% behind their work, and
produce great work that I believe outshines major chains.
Go to Kay Jewelers, look at their selections, and the staff people who only know how to calculate commission. Then go to Robinson Bros. you will find THE EXACT SAME SELECTION, and the same sales people, then go to Rogers and Holland, you will see THE EXACT SAME SELECTION and the same sales people, then go to Jared and you will find THE EXACT SAME SELECTION and the same sales people. (Trust me I did this)
Then go to Oscar, actually find what you
want and it won’t be a cookie cutter Chinese imitation (or
even better custom made), and the price will be better, and
the same sales person will wait on you at the sale, the
fittings, the rework, and the maintenance of your item, for
years to come.

Whenever I’m decided about what to get for someone-who has everything-or just something unique, I turn to Oscar. He carries a fine line of jewelry along with the willingness to handcraft exactly what you’re looking for. The store is filled with unusual and stunning rings, bracelets, earrings, charms and necklaces. Traditional items are always in stock. Oscar’s personality is a pleasure- he ALWAYS remembers who you are which is a plus to be assured you’re getting individual service.
A new store across the street front location is in the
construction process to offer an even wider expanse of
jewelry selections.

I have been going to Oscar’s since I was a teen (almost half my life ago) and you couldn’t ask for more knowledgeable, pleasant, and accommodating people anywhere. If he doesn’t have it he’ll get it for you. Break something and he can fix it! He has an unbelievable variety of beautiful pieces. You can’t help but feel like a celebrity when you buy from Oscar. Great staff as well. Love the new space too!

You want a warm, family/friendly jewelry store, this is the one. Oscars knows all his customers by first name. He has been in the
area for years and Bridgeport really trusts him. He is who our family goes to go our designs, and watch repairs, his staff is also
amazing, its a huge family. they are all so helpful. Liliana, the manager is such an amazing young lady! She is one who helped us
pick out an engagement ring for my brothers fiance, and let me tell you, they help out so much! Oscar came in the sale, and put the
icing on the cake, He is all smiles!!! we almost forgot we were shopping and felt like we were right at home. Amazing place, price
is always right, place is beautiful, and i heard he was relocating, Oscar, Wish you the best in the new place !!
